Due to Coronavirus/Covid-19, OACI will be utilizing Zoom for online webinars, seminars and meetings in lieu of holding in-person events for this event and depending on regulations and safety, likely for other upcoming events as well.

In September of 2016, Hoffman Construction began work on rebuilding the 120+ year old Washington Park Reservoirs for the Portland Water Bureau. While these reservoirs have supplied drinking water to Portlanders since they were constructed, recent mandates designed to ensure the health and security of potable water supplies required large-scale overhauls.

The project entails building a new, seismically reinforced underground reservoir to retain the function of providing some of SW Portland’s drinking water, while creating a new, accessible lowland habitat area and reflecting pool, providing newly usable space for Portlanders to enjoy.

This presentation will be given by 3 representatives of the project from Hoffman Construction, who will discuss the project from design to implementation.

Presented by:
Cary Bubenik, Operations Manager
Nevan Huddleston, Project Engineer
Eric Bruning, Hoffman Structures Project Engineer
